    PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
    Shaun Trubiano was appointed Principal Percussion of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in 2023. He was Principal Percussion for Opera Australia Orchestra from 2011-2023. Previously a Fellow with the New World Symphony Orchestra in Miami, he performed with conductor Michael Tilson Thomas. At Manhattan School of Music (MSM), he completed both a Bachelor and Masters degree in Orchestral Performance (OP) as a named scholar of the Henry Nias Foundation. Whilst studying in the OP program, Shaun was under the distinguished tutelage of Metropolitan Opera Principal Timpani, Duncan Patton and New York Philharmonic Principal Percussion, Christopher Lamb. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Orchestral Percussion from MSM as the Berkman Rahm Scholar.

    PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
    Australian violinist Claire Sterling studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London and the University of Melbourne, Australia. In 2004 she was appointed Principal Second Violin with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Claire appeared regularly in SCO chamber concerts and is a guest principal with several other UK orchestras including the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Hallé, Northern Sinfonia and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. She also plays with Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s Orchestre Revolutionnaire et Romantique and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

    Claire has performed as soloist with the Scottish Sinfonia, Edinburgh and Southbank Sinfonia, London. Chamber appearances include Spitalfields, Arundel and City of London festivals and recitals in France, Italy and
