With a guitar wrapped around his body, Stelth Ulvang stomps his bare feet on the stage while singing his Indie-folk medleys. On Thursday 11 June , Ulvang delighted Grahamstown with his eclectic sounds at the Lowlander bar. A perfect rustic venue with woodchips scattered across the floor, complimenting the “barefoot wanderer”, as he calls himself. Even load shedding couldn’t stop him during his performance and only added to the magic as he sang without a mike, requiring the audience to sit closely around the stage and intimately listen to him. I had the pleasure of meeting him and learning more about his life as a multi-talented musician.

[edit]While working at a coffee shop on Laurel Street in Fort Collins, Ulvang developed an interest in music and decided to become a musician. Being an avid traveler, he used to busk to cover his expenses.[8][9][10] Due to his habit of performing barefoot on stage, he has acquired the nickname "Barefoot Wanderer".[11][12][13]
