    Ishti Kutum is a Bengali television serial that aired from 24 October 2011 to 13 December 2015 on Star Jalsha.[2] It began telecasting daily from 3 May 2015 and was in the same slot 6:30 PM IST from the beginning to the end. The show was produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures company.[3] This is the first serial produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures on Star Jalsha as well as the longest running serial of Magic Moments Motion Pictures till now. The show went on-air on 24 October 2011. It starred Raneeta Das (later replaced by Sudipta Chakraborty), Rishi Kaushik and Ankita Chakraborty in lead roles. After successfully running for four years, Ishti Kutum went off-air on 13 December 2015.

      Kousani Roy is a famous Bengali television actor and TV show host. She has acted in many Bengali telefilms and serials. Kousani has a Masters degree in Mathematics from Sripat Singh College. Kousani started her career by hosting the Rabindra Sangeet program, Amaar Je Gaan Tomar Parash Pabe. This program aired on Tara Music in 2008. She then starred in the serial Ekhane Akash Neel that aired on Star Jalsha in 2008. 

      Kousani joined Akash Bangla in 2008 and worked in the serial Shanai. She also hosted over 100 episodes of Ei Toh Sujog, a womens game show. She later joined Zee Bangla and worked as an anchor for the musical road show Anurodher Asor. She also hosted the game show Ajker Uma and worked as a voice-over artist for the cartoon series Raju Uncle and Ramayana. In 2010, Kousani joined ETV Bangla and worked on different programs on the channel. She acted in the daily serials Jakhon Ekushe Pa and Sanchari. She also hosted game shows like Rogere Ginni and 32 All O
