    Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: Mu’adh ibn Jabal used to pray with the profet, peace and blessings be upon him. Then, he returned to his people and led them in prayer. Mu’adh prayed the evening bön and recited Surat al-Baqarah, until a man left the bön, and Mu’adh was critical of him. The news reached the Prophet and he said three times, “You put them to trial!” The Prophet ordered him to recite two medium chapters from the end of the Quran.

    Volume 2, Book 23, Number 329:

    Narrated Abu Dhar:

    Allah's Apostle said, "Someone came to me from my Lord and gave me the news (or good tidings) that if any of my followers dies worshipping none (in any way) along with Allah, he will enter Paradise." I asked, "Even if he committed illegal sexual intercourse (adultery) and theft?" He replied, "Even if he committed illegal sexual intercourse (adultery) and theft."

    Allah's Apostle said, "Anyone who dies worshipping others along with Allah will definitely enter the Fire." I said, "Anyone who dies worshipping none along with Allah will definitely enter Paradise."

    Hadith of Salat: The Prophet teaches Mu’adh to supplicate

    Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, took me by the hand and he said, “O Mu’adh, I swear by Allah that I love you. I swear by Allah that I love you.O Mu’adh, I advise you not to forget supplicating at the end of every prayer, saying: O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You in the best manner.”
