    Alain est né à Genève, le 23 juin 1949. A 9 ans, suite à la perte de son papa, Jean, populaire boucher du quartier Saint-Gervais à Genève, Alain s’initie très vite au piano sous les encouragements de sa maman, Marguerite, devenant élève du Conservatoire de Genève et du Conservatoire Populaire (classe de Madame Marine Vigny). Il accomplit ses “autres” études à l’Institut Florimont (1958-1968), puis à la Faculté de Droit à l’Université de Genève (1968-1970)
